The State Bank of Kimball has chosen to participate in the transaction account guarantee component of the FDIC Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program:
As of October 14, 2008, all non-interest bearing transaction deposit accounts at our participating FDIC-insured institution, including all personal and business checking deposit accounts that do not earn interest, are fully insured for the entire amount in the deposit account.
This unlimited insurance coverage is temporary and will remain in effect until December 31, 2009.
On October 3, 2008, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2009.
A new ATM is available at Gohmann Foods located at Highways 15 and 55 in Kimball. Use your State Bank of Kimball check card for unlimited surcharge free use of this ATM. An ATM is also located at our St. Augusta Bank Office drive-up.
